These terms ("Terms") govern your use of GOX ("the platform", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Draft notice: This document is a Phase 1 starter draft. A formal review by qualified counsel is scheduled before public launch (D14 ship gate). Bracketed [TBD] items will be filled before that review concludes.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher) to create an account. By signing up you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secret + all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at security@gox.life if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not:

  • Share your account with another person.
  • Create accounts using automated means.
  • Misrepresent your age, country, or identity.
  • Create multiple accounts to evade bans, rate limits, or trial restrictions.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the platform to:

  • Violate the law (yours or ours — Delaware, US + Vietnam).
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Distribute malware, phishing, or any code that compromises security.
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate any individual or organization.
  • Scrape, mirror, or republish platform content beyond fair-use review/citation.
  • Bypass authentication, rate limits, or content-moderation systems.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you post (reviews, comments, tools you submit, etc.). By posting, you grant GOX a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and reformat that content for the operation of the platform — for example, generating an AI summary or rendering it in different layouts.

We may remove content that violates §3 or our Community Guidelines (/legal/community, separate document, link will live there once published).

5. AI-generated content

Some content on GOX is partially or wholly generated by AI (clearly labeled "Cal-summarized" or similar). AI output is best-effort and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Verify before relying on it for important decisions.

6. Affiliate links

The AI tool directory contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission when you click through and purchase. Affiliate status does not influence whether a tool is listed — listing decisions are based on our editorial criteria. See /legal/affiliate-disclosure (Phase 1.5+) for details.

7. Subscription + payments

Phase 1: free tier only. Paid tiers (Subscription, Master, Studio) launch Phase 2+ with separate terms. When that lands, refund + cancellation policy will be published 14 days in advance.

8. Termination

You can delete your account anytime via Settings → Privacy → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms or applicable law.
  • Pose a security risk.
  • Are inactive for 24+ months (with 30 days' notice).

After deletion we follow the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy §5.

9. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of third-party data, or that any AI-generated content is fit for a particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOX, its officers, and its employees are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify GOX against any claim arising from your violation of these Terms or the rights of a third party.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Delaware, USA] for users outside Vietnam, and [Vietnam] for users in Vietnam. Disputes are resolved by the courts of [TBD] or, where applicable, by binding arbitration under [AAA / VIAC TBD] rules.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Material changes will be emailed to signed-in users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
